Alex Kitt is an emerging writer from Red Deer, residing in Vancouver. He holds a BFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia. He has won a Canadian National Magazine Award for Fiction. He was the winner of The New Quarterly’s 2023 Peter Hinchcliffe Fiction Award and was shortlisted for The Fiddlehead’s 2024 Fiction Contest and The Malahat Review’s 2025 Open Season Award.
